Maya Marie

Maya is a queer filmmaker and comedy producer based in South London.

She likes to make and support projects that find playful and bold angles into human experiences not explored enough on screen or stage.

Her first short film, SMALL PLATES, which marries themes of appetite and modern dating, and her second shrt film, a grounded horror comedy, is currently in development. Her sketch and musical comedy night SKETCHY, produced alongside Amber, recurs quarterly in South London venues.

Maya is always interested in getting to know exciting new comedy writers or performers looking to move into screen work.

Amber Ash (with kangaroo!)

Amber is a queer comedy producer and technician from Croydon with credits across live comedy, theatre and film.

She especially enjoys character and narrative-based comedy forms, and has produced a number of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, including sketch comedian Will BF’s award-winning MOON TEAM IIIV.

Amber produced Maya’s first short SMALL PLATES in 2024, and launched comedy magazine CHAFF alongside Will BF, which runs quarterly.

She also works freelance across community arts projects in Croydon and South London.

Amber is up for meeting sketch & narrative comedians looking to develop live shows.
